1.02 Why Work Anyways

 Yeah, been a while. I do that a lot. Especially since it's the first year of my job. I'm getting better though! And it's SimNaNo, so please pray for me to get this out in time.

Dorian: This poor gal needs a win, huh? We left off on a cliffhanger though so, let's spoil that surprise: My job gives me free metals and crystals! 

Dorian: Yeah, you can just ask for metals and crystals and they just... give them to you? 

Hoooolllyy hell well that'll make our generation a lot easier. 

Dorian: Granted, they only seem to give you the same stuff on the same day... so we'll have to see how useful this trick is...

Hey, I'll take it man. Anyways, Dorian went to his first day of work, which was also my first day in the science career. So I took a lot of pictures being wowed. 

Dorian: I do that to people. 

Dorian: Also this was before we figured out how to get the UI on, pardon. I believe I'm uncovering secrets to infinite wisdom... or sex appeal. I prefer the second one.

I'm pretty sure you have a hunk at home who doesn't think you need it.

Dorian: (he sways as he daydreams about that wedding he's due for) Yeah...

It's kind of amazing that you show up to your first day of work with no formal training but you can use this machine with no issues.

Dorian: It's my natural abilities. I just press random buttons and it works.

I wish my job was that way.

Dorian: I mean... there's probably similarities for teachers... just... metaphorical rather than literal.

Ha!

Dorian: Success!

Dorian: I made a thingy!

A what?

Dorian: I dunno, but I made it!

Now let's go milk those metals and crystals out of this crew...

Dorian: This day of work is taking too loooong

And with that, we ended our first day on the job and rushed home. 

What's the face for? 

Dorian: Do you not see that it's dark outside? This job keeps me for too long. I don't like it.

Ah well, best go in and get some love.

They're really stinking adorable though, so I think Dorian cheered up quick enough. 

Dorian: Mercymercy~! I tickle easily!

Kolton: Hm, maybe for a kiss...

Dorian: Haha... I think I can do that for you.

The next morning they decided to make use of that nice archway out by the canal. This was taken a while ago (translation: before the wedding pack, thank god) so the ceremony was quick and easy.

Dorian: You ready for this life?

Kolton: You better believe it, beautiful.
